Ghazali Contemporary Evaluating Vision for the Educational Curricula Theory

  The curricula experts and the theorists currently exert relevant efforts to determine the characteristics of the educational curriculum that would achieve the ambitions of the individuals and the community as well, depending on determined psychological, social, spiritual and cognitive principles to improve the curricula and define the basic factors that enforce them, particularly: the objectives, the content, the methodology of teaching and evaluation.

     Our educational references comprise a lot of alien theories which are related to non-Arab and non-Muslim scholars for various reasons and that obliged us not to concern with the little number of Arabian and Islamic theories in this field.

     This research consisted of three parts that exposed the theory of Imam Ghazali in the aspect of curricula and presented that in a modernized way. The first part showed the theoretical background beside the enquiries for writing the research and the theoretical and practical importance to the reader.

      The second part explained the analysis of the curriculum principles. The researcher started with the philosophical principles that described the strong belief in Allah, the unity of the universe and the living things, the integration of universe factors and the equilibrium among the universe factors. All that would achieve the esteemed hospitality of the human beings as the will of Allah. Then the researcher moved to the social principles which distinguished the Muslim community from the western and the non-Muslim communities. The most famous contemporary theorists and experts of the educational curricula are related to the non-Muslim countries. Whereas, the communities are relevantly unified by the Islamic religion, which succeeded in the formation of the integrated societies and strengthened the relations among the individuals in the Muslim groups, and glorified the roles of the Muslim establishments to benefit the Islamic world.

The Relation of the Qur'anic International Address in the 15th Century (H) With the Various Systems of Cultures and Civilizations

 

      We may ask ourselves: Why did we specifically choose this duration of time? And we know that the Qur'an had been descent to show the Straight Path to the whole world addressing all peoples through out the centuries. To answer this question, we have chosen this period because it was the beginning of the serious exerted efforts of Muslim nations to overcome the western conspiracies against Islam and to spread the Islamic Da'wa among the nations and to reestablish the strong Muslim nation through the awareness and the development of the communities and systems, politically, economically and socially compliant to their belief, Shari'a and the instructions of the Holy Qur'an in order to face the constraints that obstruct their progress and prosperity.

     The first century of Higra was the time of Islamic domination upon the whole world and made the appreciated educational, religious and behavioral changes on the souls and taught the humanity how to live in good terms with each other by becoming pious, just and trustworthy. The 14th century of Higra witnessed the beginning of the modern western conspiracies on the Muslim nations which made the Muslim people suffer from their destructive and painful impacts till the contemporary period. On the contrary, the 15th century of Higra became the era of reformation, construction and optimistic firm foundations of Islamic culture and civilization to form the promising future for the coming generations and to pave the way for the Muslim people to live in peace and security in the light of the Holy Quran and the Qur'anic international mission supported by the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed ( prayers and peace be upon him ).
